Google Analytics offers a feature called Goal Tracking. It allows us to say “If someone visits my site, then navigate to the contact page, then submits a request to be contact: consider this a Goal.” Then when we run a report to see how many of your visitors completed that Goal we can evaluate the effectiveness of search engine optimization, search engine marketing, paid search marketing, social media marketing and more.
Of course, that’s just an example. We can setup Goals based on any type of event or series of events. We can also attribute value to those events and help you understand which Goals are leading to the highest return on investment.
